This semester, I am teaching the Foundations class for undergrads. This is the first studio arts class that they take. So, we cover basic drawing techniques, color theory and design principles. This week, they are learning about positive/negative space. I ran across this illustrator (Tang Yau Hoong)  who almost exclusively uses this method.
