1) He Who Has, Luke 19:26, 16” x 20”, Ink on Paper | The character on the left has embraced what he has (an egg), nurtured it and it has become a bird (with potential for more egg/bird making). The character on the right did not value even what he had (egg) and dropped it on the ground becoming waste. This left character reflects the faithful servants describes in Luke 19. $75

2) Be Mindful, Luke 8:1-21, 16” x 20”, Ink on Paper | A crowned “listener”, has embraced Christ words, putting them into practice and holds growing fruit. In contrast, the downcast character (right) has wilting, dead roots falling through their hands and blown out fire on their head. $75

3) Humbled & Exalted, Luke 14:11, 16” x 20”, Ink on Paper | A crowned humbled character (left) has his hand gently cradled and held up. The self-exalting character (right) wears and inverted crown, which becomes a jester’s (ie. “fool”) collar. $75

4) The Axe and the Winnowing Fork, Luke 3: 7-18, $150 (set) or $75 each

  • The “Axe” represents John and his call to God’s people to bear the fruit of repentance that “the axe is already at the root of the tree and every tree that doesn’t produce good fruit will be cut down and thrown into the fire”.
  • The “Winnowing Fork” represents Christ, who John states will come and gather his wheat and burn up the chaff.

5) Logs for Looking, Luke 6: 41-2, 24” x 36”, Ink on Paper | Two connected characters peer through telescopic logs. $250

6) Heart Speak, Luke 6:45, 27” x 20”, Ink on Paper | Lively, chaotic lines emerge from within the figure, illustrating what is inside in connected to what is outside. $150

7) Weight of Worship, Luke 7:36-50, 16” x 20”, Ink on Paper | The weight of the sinful woman’s love and worship to Christ is heavier than her sinful mess. Her alabaster jar is broken in her hands with the perfume in a puddle beneath her. $75

8) Parable of the Sower, Luke 8:1-15, $500 (set)

  • Wayside, 20” x 27”, Ink on Paper | A man sleeps while his heart is exposed. Symbols of love and life come down yet are snatched away by a lizard like character. $125
  • Rocky Soil, 27” x 20”, Ink on Paper | Originally star struck by the hope of the Word, when temptation comes, the stars in their eyes melt and they bear no fruit. $125
  • Thorns, 36” x 24”, Ink on Paper | Also named the Pinterest Prophetess, the woman featured holds multiple bags containing worldly concerns and pleasures, her throat twisted and choked out, and bearing no fruit. $250
  • Much Fruit, 27” x 20”, Ink on Paper | Bearing much fruit, the good soil, multiplies and shares its harvest at an expansive table welcoming friends. $125

9) Faithful Fire, Luke 16:10, 30” x 40” Acrylic on Canvas | The imagery of a man faithfully holding and tending a hand-held fire suggests that he could carefully sustain it or (if willed) grow it to be a bustling large fire. $700

10) Fed Up, Galatians 5: 16-17, 30” x 40” Acrylic on Canvas | An Alaskan dog fighter had multiple dogs that he would fight, betting on the winner. He always won. When asked how he knew which dog would win, he replied, “whichever one I feed.” The girl represents the believer holding a dog representing her flesh. The object in between is the candle/stick to demonstrate the work and fruit of the Spirit. The conclusion here is that whoever has been “fed” will hold on to the stick or be free to run with it. $700

11) Planted by the River, Psalm 1: 1-3, Ink on Paper, 20” x 16”, A gift and prayer of the artist for the life, fruitfulness and future of Riverside Church.
